This is the best iOS Astronomy app! This update however still has a few bugs :-(

The latest update for the iPad wont start. It just crashes after the splash screen. Up until now it was great.

Was working fine until last update. Now wont even open. 100% useless waste of money.

App does not appear to work anymore on OS X 8.1. Always crashes on the splash screen.

When I upgraded to IOS 8 the app stopped working. II deleted the app. I restarted my Ipad2 and downloaded it again from the Icloud and it works great! This is an amazing app for astronomy! Thanks!!

I just wanted to again say thanks to the folks at Simulation Curriculum Corp. The past two or three times Ive contacted them with a problem, Ive always received a reply within two days with either a fix that worked, or a response telling me that they are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. The settings scroll problem I listed here was actually a fault of having my font settings set too high for my iPad. Thanks for your help Bill.

I use it all the time. Great for controlling my scope when I do tours or even just my own viewing

This app is amazing. It blows anything else clear out of the water. I use it regularly to plan observing for myself and our local astronomical society. The best feature? Observing lists. Save an object to a list and then use it later for easy goto. Descriptions help determine what objects should be prioritized. Excellent app!

This apps on my iOS make everything I need. I can plan my session by creating observing list or simply control my telescope, and much more. I use it on iOS and Mac OS X. If you one astronomy apps for its this one.

Even if I use a professional software to control my mount (Paramount MX+), I use sky safari to plan my sessions, every sessions. Its very easy to use and at the same time very powerful. I strongly recommend this software, for the price you pay it is impossible to go wrong.

It costs some money, but it is the best astronomy software available for iOS.

Objects like Messier could have better images please. If Im stargazing on an imperfect night, it would be nice to be consoled by a high def image of the object on SkySafari instead. Otherwise Im really enjoying the app.

As an amateur astronomer and a member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, I give this app a "thumbs up". Not only does it provide a plethora of data and interesting facts, it provides users with an unprecedented view of the night sky and one that is interactive and easy to use! I highly recommend Sky Safari Pro, both iOS and OSX versions for the beginner and expert.

I frequently use this app to plan astrophotography sessions ... Many great features and a fairly extensive database of celestial objects.

This is a very comprehensive and useful app to help with stargazing. I bring it with me to virtually every observing session. It is highly detailed, very configurable and very useful for star-hopping and observing session planning. The value for the money is mind-blowing.

I put away my Uranometria star atlases when this app came out several years ago. I haven’t looked back. Even though one of my scopes has go-to capability, I’m a star hopper at heart. The database has stars down to 14th magnitude and this helps when working with faint fuzzies and other delicate objects. Custom skylists and other settings make this program even better. Team this app up with StarMapHD and you have the ultimate tool at the eyepiece. I use the app with an iPad 2 w/32Mb with iOS 8 without any problems.

I use this program for my set up and observation with my telescope. By far the best program of this type that I have used,excellent graphics and ease of use is another bonus.

This is the app I use most often for learning the night sky and for controlling my mount when using the goto feature. It is detailed, highly customizable, and visually appealing. My only suggestions would be to improve the logging feature (make it more customizable) and identify craters and other features on the Moon so I can learn what it is Im seeing. Highly recommended!
